Raised in Israel, Ruti has been in the education field for over 30 years
in Israel and in the USA. She graduated from the University of Ben-Gurion in Beer Sheva.
She began her career as a High School Teacher in Israel. Following that she specialized
in delivering Hebrew lessons to new immigrants in the most prestigious Ulpan in Ramat Aviv Beit Brodetzky.
This is where she discovered her deep love and passion for the Hebrew language.
She then moved to Los Angeles and began a longstanding and fulfilling career in
Jewish education. She taught in Hebrew High for five years; in Heschel Day School for two
years. For fourteen consecutive years, she held the position of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah coordinator
of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple (the largest temple in the West U.S) in which she trained
hundreds of Bnei Mitzvah, including adult Bnei-Mitzvah. More on Bar/Bat Mitzvah...
Her love and passion for the Hebrew language led her to become one of the most successful
teachers at the University of Judaism in which her enthusiasm for modern Biblical Hebrew drew
raves from her students and colleagues alike for seven years.
In the past five years, Ruti has been running her own Judaic/Hebrew private tutoring
service. She has expanded her services to officiating Bnei Mitzvah, creating personalized prayer
books, and has published an effective book Joy of Hebrew, which is a self teaching book.
Ruti has conducted and officiated scores of Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremonies over the years and has
tutored more than a 1000 students. She knows precisely what it takes to prepare each individual for their
B'nei Mitzva and is instrumental in creating an optimum and joyful experience for the family throughout
the entire process.
