WHY DID I WRITE The Joy of Hebrew?
This
book is a culmination of 30 years of teaching Hebrew to students from
ages 10 to 83 years old, in both Israel and the United States. In
teaching students and training teachers I have frequently observed
common errors and repeated problems.
Joy of Hebrew is a solution to all confusions students and teachers have in learning or teaching others to read Hebrew.
I noticed that students go blank very often when reading words
they don't know the meaning of and thus, miss symbols, lose their
interest and enthusiasm to continue learning the language. Using Joy of Hebrew you will know the meaning of every word you read.
There are common Hebrew letters students confuse. Joy of Hebrew is written in such a way that it prevents confusion of look alike letters.
How does one know if he/she reads the words correctly, without an affirmation from a Hebrew teacher? Joy of Hebrew has the solution.
Students have a hard time recognizing final letters. Joy of Hebrew has a solution for that.
