Ruti has been a blessing for us with our daughter's Bat Mitzvah training.
Ruti is patient and kind, warm and engratiating, wise and spiritual. And she
has figured out a way to connect with pre-pubescent teens that is truly
remarkable. She is extremely knowledgeable in Hebrew, Chanting, and Judaism
so I have no worries in that area. (I am a Rabbi's daughter so maybe a bit
anal compulsive in that area.)
She has made the learning fun and helped our
daughter find great joy in being Jewish (not always an easy task for a
teenager!). She has also handled so graciously all of the ups and downs and
protestations of a teenager having to learn a foreign language, and even
sing in a foreign language. Ruti demands a high level of performance and
accomplishment and she very slyly doesn't settle for less. Thus it raises
our daughter's confidence as she has learned the skills. We are very lucky
to have found such a marvelous Hebrew tutor.
