When I first started my Bar Mitzvah program I thought that learning how to read Hebrew from scratch will be a very very long process and I was worried about it. When I started using the Joy of Hebrew, to my surprise, it was much much easier than I thought. I was excited to work with the book because it was easy; easy to understand and to follow.  Going through the chapter was effortless and fun. I enjoyed very much the bonus section: the Jewish Corner- learning about the Talit kipa etc.
